  6. Maine Photographic Workshops, six one-week intensive workshops in Photoshop, four summers, Basic and Intermediate Photoshop (two weeks), Digital Collage and Painting (two separate workshops), Lightroom. Rockport, Maine

  7. Worked as an apprentice and part-time assistant to Louis Garavaglia, a commercial photographer, weddings, portraits, darkroom printing.

Employment:

 

Mercyhurst University, 1990 – present Assistant Professor of Art, teaching courses annually in Photography One, Art History-Ancient to Medieval, Art History-Renaissance to Modern, and Intermediate Photography. Teach courses biennially in: Color Photography, Digital Photography, History of Photography, and History of Modern Art, taught Senior Seminar 2005-2010, Director, Cummings Gallery, 1992-2004.

Photography club advisor.

 

Martin Luther King Center – 1982-1988 Martin Luther King Center. Taught photography and directed an art gallery in a neighborhood art center and alternative art space.

 

Louis Caravaglia – 1974-1980. Darkroom assistant, wedding photographer, and assistant in the studio, worked in all aspects of commercial photography.
